"Ben Simmons desperately trying to go to Lakers or Warriors!": NBA Twitter explodes after the 76ers star posts a controversial picture on his IG story

Ben Simmons posts a controversial picture on his Instagram story, and NBA Twitter is going absolutely crazy over it

Man, will this Ben Simmons saga ever end? It seems like there is a new installment every other day. And with each new one, this story only seems to grow pettier and pettier.

Initially, it seemed like it was just the Philadelphia 76ers that were completely sick of the player, and justifiably so. At the end of the day, you can’t have a near 7-footer too scared to take an open layup.

But now, it seems Ben Simmons believes he has been crossed by the franchise and has been acting out accordingly ever since the offseason began. And during his little adventure, we’ve seen him ask to be traded to a team in California, show off his three-point jumper (again), and then asking to be traded just about anywhere.

Now, if that seems petty to you, fasten your seatbelts ladies and gentleman. Because this is going to reach a whole other level.

At this point, it’s only Ben Simmons that we’re getting new updates from within this saga. And that doesn’t change with this little update either.

As we said earlier, the point guard has requested to be traded and essentially wants to be anywhere but in Philadelphia come next season. And well, it seems the star has decided to make another allusion to that fact. Take a look at the tweet below.

And of course, NBA Twitter went absolutely ballistic.

At this point, we really don’t know what happens next. One thing is for sure though. If Ben Simmons really had to play in a Philly jersey again after all this, it’d be nothing less than absolutely hilarious.
