Shaquille O’Neal followed in Charles Barkley’s footsteps when he decided to join the ‘Inside the NBA’ crew right after he retired. Following his Achilles injury with the Boston Celtics, it was clear that he wasn’t going to be able to live up to his 2-year contract. This is when Turner Sports swooped in and signed him to a TV deal.

Since 2011, Shaq has proven himself to be just as great as a TV analyst as he was on NBA hardwood. His chemistry with Charles Barkley and the rest of the crew is undeniable. Most recently he hilariously couldn’t keep it together when Chuck said he was ‘juggling two balls’.
The entire crew of 4 that includes Ernie Johnson and Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith are incredibly close to one another. So much so that Kenny’s son’s teacher let Shaq take his son away from school.

Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most recognizable figures in the United States. Despite being 51 years old and having been retired for well over a decade, the ‘Big Aristotle’ has made a mark on not just the sport of basketball but the entertainment industry in general.
Him being recognizable also stems from the fact that he’s over 350lbs and is 7’1. So, when he showed up to his daughter’s school to pick her up, he decided to use his recognition to mess with his ‘Inside the NBA’ co-host.
Kenny’s son goes to the same school as Shaq’s daughter and so when their teachers saw him show up on campus, they let him take the Rockets legend’s son as well. When Kenny showed up to the school later on to take his son, he would hilariously get told by the faculty that the 4x NBA champion had already taken him out.
The last bit of the segment saw Chuck ask Shaq to name all of his 6 children in under 15 seconds, letting viewers know that he can’t.

A perfect example of the banter that goes on at ‘Inside the NBA’ on a daily basis is when Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley poked fun at Derrick White. As the Celtics guard was giving his postgame interview, the two Hall-of-Fame big-men went at him for his hairline.
The first joke that they got off was them stating that his hairline reminded them of Stephen A. Smith’s hairline. What makes this even funnier is that Smith has a better hairline than the much younger White. Either way, the ESPN analyst took to social media that he’ll get them back for disrespecting him.
