Kendrick Perkins sends some serious criticism in Chris Paul’s direction while justifying Jrue Holiday’s lack of offensive output in the last few games

This series between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns has truly been one, worthy of being the finals matchup so far. And a massive reason for that has been the unrelenting battle between point guards Chris Paul and Jrue Holiday.
At their best, both players function as incredibly efficient playmakers and scorers for their team. However, especially during games 3 and 4, the two players found themselves canceling the other out throughout the game.
At the end of the day though, despite their point guard being played out of the game, the Bucks still took both home games, tying up the series at 2 apiece. And frankly, this means serious trouble for the Suns side that botched their commanding lead to be here.
After the conclusion of game 4, countless analysts have talked endlessly about the two teams. But, it seems that Kendrick Perkins wanted to talk about Chris Paul specifically.
Let’s get into it.
“CP3 has been falling off like leaves in the wintertime”: Kendrick Perkins calls out Chris Paul for underperforming while crediting Jrue Holiday
Shooting 4 of 20 shots has never been a good night. But, what many fans have ignored about Jrue Holiday is, apart from his shooting, he had a very influential game.
The man had 7 rebounds, with many of those coming in clutch time during the second half. He had 7 assists, again, with most of them coming when it mattered most in the second half. And finally, the Bucks star also had 3 steals, and an overall box plus/minus score of +8.
The fact of the matter is, the NBA community has been far too trigger happy when it comes to criticizing the player. Holiday deserves more credit for picking Chris Paul full court, for basically the whole game, and holding the star to just 10 points, on 38.5% from the field.
But, while most of the NBA community turned a blind eye to this fact, it seems Big Perk hasn’t forgotten a thing. Take a look at the tweet below.
CP3 has been falling off like leaves in the winter time ever since Jrue Holiday started guarding him. Carry on… https://t.co/N8sObvkzh4

As outlandish as Perk can be, he is absolutely right about most of what was said here. However, we still don’t think the Point God ‘is falling off’. But, it is a fact that Holiday’s defense is affecting him.
The question here is, can the Bucks star keep it up? Or will the greatness of Chris Paul shine through again in game 5?
Only time will tell.
