A lot of Lakers faithful are expecting this to be a sign of the ‘Point God’ joining LeBron James and the Lakers. However, all this could be nothing, and could just be two buddies hanging out. A widely speculated reason for Chris Paul declining his option is so that the Suns can offer him a more team-friendly deal.

All of these are just speculations at this point, which would get confirmed only when the free agency begins. Although, one would not have to wait long, considering free agency opens up today evening.
