"Chris Paul's a b*!#$ Skip!": NBA Twitter reacts to Skip Bayless slamming CP3 just days after praising him

Skip Bayless pulls a classic, doing a Twitter backpedal following Chris Paul’s abysmal performance against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The name Skip Bayless brings about enough vitriol in the NBA community. While he may occasionally make a good Tweet or give a solid take, the majority of it is baseless.

To add to that, he also tends to backpedal a lot. The finest example happened tonight. The New Orleans Pelicans beat the no.1 seed Phoenix Suns comfortably.

Paul was horrendous today, and this stat only proves how bad of a night he had.

The duality of Skip Bayless is illustrated by these Tweets on Chris Paul

Skip Bayless is absurdly opinionated, more than that he also tends to be flippant. Skip’s capricious nature is what attracts audiences and boy, did he pull all his tricks out of the bag for this one.

The first tweet is him praising CP. He hints at an upset, calling out the players Pelicans and asking them if they are capable of causing one.

The second one comes mid-game when CP3 is riled up by a young rookie, Herb Jones. The change in stance from Skip is expected. We still feel obliged to call him out for it. As does the internet.

Twitter feels the same, and calls out Skip for being fickle-minded!

Everyone on Twitter mirrored our feelings.

While CP and the Suns may have had problems with the Pelicans today, the biggest one today would be the internet’s vehement dislike of Skip Bayless.
