Skip Bayless has recently been on a stretch of actually appreciating LeBron James and the Lakers over the last few weeks. And as you’d expect, that includes being the King’s biggest cheerleader during their headliner series against Golden State. So, when the Lakers closed it all out, of course, he had quite a bit to say.

In all honesty, Stephen Curry and his team never really looked like they were going to win this game. They were colder than dry ice on just about every kind of shot they took. And to make matters worse, they couldn’t buy a stop on the other end of the floor. By the end, this massacre yielded a final score of 101-122 to the Purple and Gold, a result Skip Bayless seemed to enjoy from start to finish. Here are his slew of tweets during the entire process.
Skip Bayless absolutely loved calling out Stephen Curry and the Warriors during their disappointing loss to the Lakers
This wasn’t the kind of game the Warriors wanted to play. They had all the looks they wanted, but just couldn’t convert their shots. And if you know Skip Bayless, you already know this man was already using that against them. Add to that the fact that LeBron James was attacking the rim too, and you have a thoroughly entertained 71-year-old man. Here are his tweets from that period of the game.
LOVE LEBRON ATTACKING EARLY. ATTAWAY, “KING.”

LeBron owes his team for that sorry Game 5 performance. He’s paying them back. Now, can he sustain this attack-mode energy?

First Steph basket after 4 misses.

I am … astonished by how poorly the Warriors are playing so far … like a team that lost 30 regular-season road games.

The Warriors are 5-23 from three. The Lakers are 6-11. All you need to know.

I watched Austin Reaves a whole lot when he played at Oklahoma. I saw very little of THIS. He was a poor 3-point shooter. Not anymore. Not sure I’ve ever seen a player improve more from college to NBA. He’s not doing this for the Magic or Pistons. He’s co-starring with LEBRON.

As the game grew on, Skip Bayless only grew sicker and sicker of the Warriors. And by the end he was simply sick of the Dubs.
Schroder got that tech for taunting. But Draymond deserved one, too, for pushing the ball in Schoder’s face.

Defending chumps.

“Defending Chumps”
LeBron could drive it for a bucket ANY TIME HE WANTS. Should’ve done this in Game 5 and he’d be resting tonight.

Feet of Klay: He’s 3 for 17 now.

That’s it. Dubs are done. And so could be the dynasty.

Something was wrong with these Warriors from the moment Draymond punched Jordan Poole – then they proceeded to lose 30 regular-season road games.

LeBron is about to score 30 or more points for the first time in 19 playoff games dating back to the 2020 Bubble.

Of course, Bayless being Bayless, he also made a prediction for the Lakers’ upcoming series against the Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals. And this time, he did not favor LeBron James.
Denver in 7.

It is likely that Skip Bayless will keep going with this whole ordeal. So, it will be interesting to see if he stays on LeBron James’s side throughout the Lakers run, or if he switches sides for the Big Conference Finals when it begins.
