"Defending Chumps": Skip Bayless Vehemently Hypes LeBron James Up as Stephen Curry Collapse in 6 Games

Skip Bayless has recently been on a stretch of actually appreciating LeBron James and the Lakers over the last few weeks. And as you’d expect, that includes being the King’s biggest cheerleader during their headliner series against Golden State. So, when the Lakers closed it all out, of course, he had quite a bit to say.

In all honesty, Stephen Curry and his team never really looked like they were going to win this game. They were colder than dry ice on just about every kind of shot they took. And to make matters worse, they couldn’t buy a stop on the other end of the floor. By the end, this massacre yielded a final score of 101-122 to the Purple and Gold, a result Skip Bayless seemed to enjoy from start to finish. Here are his slew of tweets during the entire process.

Skip Bayless absolutely loved calling out Stephen Curry and the Warriors during their disappointing loss to the Lakers

This wasn’t the kind of game the Warriors wanted to play. They had all the looks they wanted, but just couldn’t convert their shots. And if you know Skip Bayless, you already know this man was already using that against them. Add to that the fact that LeBron James was attacking the rim too, and you have a thoroughly entertained 71-year-old man. Here are his tweets from that period of the game.

As the game grew on, Skip Bayless only grew sicker and sicker of the Warriors. And by the end he was simply sick of the Dubs.

Of course, Bayless being Bayless, he also made a prediction for the Lakers’ upcoming series against the Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals. And this time, he did not favor LeBron James.

It is likely that Skip Bayless will keep going with this whole ordeal. So, it will be interesting to see if he stays on LeBron James’s side throughout the Lakers run, or if he switches sides for the Big Conference Finals when it begins.
