Not in the sense that the gesture was grand or that it signified the closeness of their relationship. But rather, Dennis knew something about Posty that everyone did and he still chose to acknowledge that.
In 2018, for Christmas, Rodman decided to give Posty a gift. And he pulls it out of his socks, quite suspiciously. Considering Rodman was a party animal, we don’t know what else he could have hidden there.

If you aren’t aware, Olive Garden happens to be Post Malone’s favorite restaurant. And his fondness for breadsticks is incredibly well documented.
Dennis’ gesture was well received by Posty who is sure to show his gratitude in the form of words of affirmation. Both look quite inebriated and you can tell.

Both these guys are extremely different and yet for that one instance, backstage at a concert, it matched. Dennis’ eccentricity is on full display in the video. He is wearing a sparkly robe, which is confusing, and we can only really label it as a garment.
Post is clearly very drunk and he continues to show his love to Rodman. In a bizarre interaction of worlds, it all turned out fine.
How often can we say that? And while musicians and sports stars often cross each other, this one felt like something different. Dennis dated Madonna once, the pop icon from the 20th century, so this was nothing new. But for Post, it might have been.
