"Did Nikola Jokic do a war cry?": Nuggets star gives new meme material to NBA fans with moan after post-game interview

Nikola Jokic does not look even a little bit like he’s one of the greatest athletes in one of the most popular team games on the planet.

Big Honey, as NBA Reddit calls him, has a really quirky personality. The 7 foot center has dry wit, honesty and a way with his words, which makes for an excellent combination as an interviewer. His persona truly lends itself to public life.

Jokic was on fire last night as he topped off one of the most dominant offensive performances by a center ever. He became only the second center to drop 18 dimes in an NBA game after Wilt Chamberlain.

Nikola Jokic puts internet into frenzy with moan after post-game interview

With 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting, 18 dimes and 12 assists, Jokic notched up his second triple-double of the season. This allowed the Nuggets to race out to a blowout win.

Big Honey was definitely pleased as punch in his post-game interview as he lavished praise on his team. As great as Jokic was at finding them, they played their role well by cutting enthusiastically.

But Jokic then did something that is so hilarious, it might even rival Kawhi Leonard’s laugh as meme material. People certainly seemed to think it was downright hysterical to do what he did – moan after the interview.

The casual manner in which he answers reporters’ questions in press conferences pretty much confirms how chill a guy he is. Jokic definitely has some locker room intangibles. He’s got all of his teammates raving about him off the court as well.
