"I hope that ain't your girl next to you, cause she's filming me!": Times when LeBron James silenced his hecklers with savage comebacks

LeBron James gets asked whether or not he’s ever seen a black magician before and surprisingly, the Lakers superstar entertains the query.

After spending 18 years in the NBA, it’s safe to say that LeBron James has dealt with a wide variety of questions/statements being thrown at him by reporters. Whether it was Dave McMenamin asking him about the JR Smith flub in the 2018 NBA Finals or if it was him being told that he has been clutch all his life, James has had some interesting things said to him at the podium.

When it comes to the All-Star Game however, the questions seem to get a bit more lighthearted. LeBron James, following his 2018 All-Star Game MVP win, hilariously got clowned by Charles Barkley for having more hair on his beard than on the top of head. Basketball YouTubers like Kristopher London have also been reporters at the ASG and usually tend to ask quite outlandish questions.

James was dealt with a similarly strange, yet hilarious question the following year at the 2019 All-Star Game.

LeBron James confirms that he’s seen black magicians before.

During his media availability at the 2019 NBA All-Star Game, a magician who goes by the username ‘Jibrizy’ on Twitter asked LeBron James a question that, frankly, everyone has been dying to know the answer to: “Has the ‘King’ ever seen a black magician before?

James took this outlandish query in good spirit and while chuckling, claimed that growing up in the hood in Akron led him to see many wild things. A black magician was indeed one of those things, according to the 4x champ.

This wasn’t the first time something this strange was asked to LeBron James and considering how well he’s been playing even in his 18th season, he will certainly be invited to the 2022 All-Star Game and could be asked more such queries.
