UPDATE: Devin Booker and the Suns have gone 8-0 in the NBA Bubble, however, they have been eliminated from the playoffs after Blazers won vs Nets

The Suns have done everything they can and now things rest with Damian Lillard and the Blazers. Having won all of their 8 encounters in the NBA Bubble, the Suns gave themselves an outside chance of making it to the play-in tournament.

However, they still needed help from other teams in order to sneak into the play-in tournament. With Giannis suspended for tonight’s game vs Grizzlies, things got tougher for the Suns with respect to the playoff scenario.

Being down by 7 points in the 4th quarter, Lillard knocked down a deep 3 and McCollum later got an important isolation 2 . For the final play, LeVert, who had bene brilliant all night, scoring 37 points, couldn’t get the step back jumper to go and thus sent the Blazers into the play-in tournament.

As a result of that win for the Blazers, the Suns have been knocked out of the Bubble, as they end their end season in 10th place. Blazers on the other hand jumped to the 8th seed and need only one win out of the 2 games in the play-in tournament to get into the NBA playoffs.
