Kyle Lowry has been the subject of a plethora of trade rumors ahead of the trade deadline. After 9 long seasons, and 1 NBA championship, rumors say that it is the player who wishes to leave. Due to this, several teams have lined up with offers to acquire the player before the deadline.

Among these teams, the Miami Heat and the Philadelphia 76ers are considered to be the frontrunners so far. However, it seems Adrian Wojnarowski has another scoop that has shocked the NBA community completely.

Adrian Wojnarowski urges fans to believe that a trade for Kyle Lowry to the LA Lakers is possible

Adrian Wojnarowski was recently on the air with ESPN. During this time, potential trades for players were being discussed. And of course, Kyle Lowry was one of the biggest names to crop up.

Speaking on the topic of potential suitors for Kyle Lowry ahead of the trade deadline, this is what he had to say.

“Don’t rule the Lakers out of a Kyle Lowry trade.”

The LA Lakers are already pretty packed in terms of firepower. A dynamic duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, supported by players like Kyle Kuzma, Alex Caruso, and Montrzl Harrell. If Kyle Lowry were to be added to this list as well, the franchise may just be guaranteed another championship.

This would also be a serious blow to the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers. Both these teams have been excellent this season for sure. But adding an experienced piece of Kyle Lowry’s caliber would have made these franchises far more formidable.

There are a lot of interesting routes this potential trade could take. But only time will tell what the new home for Kyle Lowry will be by the end of the trade deadline.
