“Draymond Green Only Has a Couple Games Left as a Warrior”: Nick Wright Speculates ‘The End’ For Warriors Forward in Bay Area After Game 3 Suspension

California basketball might not be the same anymore. After the Sacramento Kings went up 2-0 against the Golden State Warriors in the first round of Playoffs, there are chances, it will never be the same. One reason for that would be Draymond Green stomping Domantas Sabonis on the chest in a game that was the biggest one for them in the 2022-23 season.

Now the Warriors’ forward is out for Game 3.

Well, at least they accepted it out loud that the suspension is based on his reputation and not just this foul in particular.

The upcoming game in Chase Center is kind of a must-win match for the defending champions. It is going to be difficult for them to get back up and recover from something they have never been through. And they have to manage it without their point-forward and defensive anchor.

So, some experts think this could well be Green’s last couple of games as a Warrior.

Draymond Green-suspension from Game 3 has Nick Wright thinking this series is it for him as a Warrior

If the Warriors lose Game 3 at home and go 3-0 down in the series, there would be slight to no chances of them coming back because it would mean winning 4 back-to-back, including two in Golden 1 Center.

And knowing their road record, that doesn’t look likely. However, even before they lost Game 3, FS1 analyst Nick Wright already had them done for the season and Green as a Warrior for good.

“Absolutely on the board, and in fact quite likely, that Draymond only has a couple games left as a Warrior,” Nick Wright tweeted after Green’s suspension.

A Boston loyal, The Ringer journalist, Kevin O’Connor, is in agreement.

Can the Warriors cope with this situation?

One or the other Warriors’ role player or youngster has always shown up in an important game, in all their title runs over the years. And Anthony Slater has laid that out for us.

Who could it be? We will find out soon enough, but if you are a Kings fan, just do not get too excited about your team winning its first playoff series in decades already. A team with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson can come back from anything.
