"Dwyane Wade doesn't return my texts for days": Bam Adebayo hilariously accuses the Heat legend of ghosting him over the past few weeks

Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo makes some hilarious allegations about Dwyane Wade in an interview after his game against the Celtics.

Bam Adebayo has taken the next step for the Miami Heat this campaign. Last season, the player had shown massive improvements on both ends of the floor and was an All-Star.

This year, however, he is playing at a near superstar level for the franchise, massively boosting the team’s chances to return to the NBA finals this year.

In their most recent game, Adebayo was dominant, scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists, leading the team to a 121-129 win over the Boston Celtics.

After the game, the Heat star was interviewed by the Inside crew after the game. And here, Bam Adebayo had an extremely hilarious conversation with former teammate, and franchise legend, Dwayne Wade.

Bam Adebayo accuses Dwyane Wade of ignoring his texts after the legend tries to roast him

Dwyane Wade and Bam Adebayo have had a close relationship for a while now. The former player has played somewhat of a mentor’s role for the Heat young-in. So, it makes sense for the two to regularly send texts back and forth with each other.

Following these lines, the two had a hilarious little exchange during the latest episode of TNT’s ‘Inside the NBA’. Take a look.

When Dwyane Wade got on air with Bam Adebayo, the legend started with a little roast for the player.

“Let me say I like low-cut Bam better. You don’t return my text messages…but it’s all good.”

After giving one of the best confused faces in NBA history, Adebayo had this to say.

“First of all, how many times have I texted you and it took you like a day to respond D Wade?… That’s superstar stuff… like I get. I’m not there yet, but I’m getting there, but you can text me back.”

After this little exchange, the Heat legend tried to get at the player to change his hairstyle, asking, ”  How long you gon keep that weak ‘fro though?”

Bam simply responded, “It’s getting defensive player of the year.”

Jokes aside, Bam Adebayo’s impact for the Miami Heat is palpable, to say the least. And if he can continue at the same level, he could stand a chance to go on and win the award this season.
