Equating Himself, Kevin Durant, And Bradley Beal To $1.9 Billion Movie's Characters, Devin Booker Hypes Up Suns Fans Amidst OT Win

Heading into the 2023-24 season, the Phoenix Suns have the most lethal offense in the NBA. Consisting of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, the Suns are likely the only team in the league with an actual “Big Three”. Together, fans are expecting them to dominate the competition en route to an NBA Championship. And, in the midst of all this, D-Book equated the trio, on Instagram, to the three Spidermen from the movie ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ which grossed a whopping $1.9 billion worldwide.

Last night, the league was given a glimpse of their offensive potential. Taking on the Detroit Pistons, the trio performed exceptionally well, as they won the game 126-130.

Devin Booker suggests that he, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal are like the Spiderman trio

To kick off their pre-season, the Phoenix Suns took on the Detroit Pistons in a game that went to overtime. Ending with a score of 126-130, the Suns came out on top thanks to some solid play. Additionally, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal worked well together in the limited time they got on the court.

They each played around 15 minutes and managed to score double-digits in points. Beal ended his night with 11 points, while both KD and D-Book finished with 12. However, their individual stats aside, it was how they worked well together that really caught everyone’s attention. Clearly, the off-season has allowed them to build up their chemistry.

Following the game, Booker took to Instagram, where he alluded to the performance of the “Big Three” with a movie reference. Sharing a video from ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ on his story, the 26-year-old seems to be suggesting that he, Durant, and Beal are equivalent to Spidermen, and like the superhero, they will crush their opponents.

To be fair to Booker, his message, albeit weird makes a lot of sense. If their pre-season game is anything to go by, this trio will likely be the most potent offense in the NBA. D-Book’s ability as a ball handler, coupled with the wing play of Beal, and the versatile scoring of Durant is sure to be a problem for opponents. Thus making the Suns a team to watch out for.

Suns newcomer Jusuf Nurkic is amazed at the incredible roster

One of the newest additions to the Phoenix Suns roster is Jusuf Nurkic. Nurk found himself in Arizona as part of a three-team trade that most notably sent Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks. But, while he isn’t playing with Dame anymore, the Bosnian center now finds himself working with three incredible offensive weapons.

Recalling his first day in practice, the Bosnian Beast explained how he was in shock upon seeing the talent around him. He told reporters how he enjoyed running the Pick and Roll offense with Devin Booker, and felt a greater surge of reassurance when he saw Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal waiting in the wings.

This is certainly a new era in Phoenix Suns basketball. And, one thing is for sure, every NBA fan around the world, regardless of the team they support, is looking forward to seeing this team in action.
