“Est Since 2005!”: 16 Months After Demanding LeBron James-Like Love for Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade Celebrates Friendship With Warriors Star

Even though Dwyane Wade didn’t get drafted in the same year as Chris Paul did, the two superstars grew very close in no time. Their clique with LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony is often referred to as the “Banana Boat Crew, earning the nickname from their famous vacation in the Bahamas. Best friends Paul and Wade recently made an appearance at the CAA Amplify Summit. Posting a photo with the newest member of the Golden State Warriors from the event, the Miami Heat legend celebrated their 18 years of friendship.

“The Flash” expressed his dissatisfaction regarding the lack of recognition the “Point God” was receiving. According to Wade, everyone seemed to be raving about LeBron James’ longevity. But, Paul, who played in his 17th season last campaign, wasn’t subjected to the same praises as King James.

Almost 16 months after voicing his opinions on Paul’s legacy, Wade has displayed some love for the latter with his recent Instagram activity.

Banana Boat Crew substitute LeBron James with CJ McCollum

Earlier this month, three of the Banana Boat Crew members – Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Paul – were at an event. With LeBron James off to his Europe tour, Wade posted a photo of the three friends alongside CJ McCollum. Have a look at the tweet by Stephen B. Smith.

The “wine dudes” captioned photo raised a lot of concern among fans of the “Banana Boat Crew”. However, there is no bad blood between LeBron and his three lifelong friends. After being a part of a tiring postseason run to the Western Conference Finals, James probably just wanted to spend his vacation abroad.
