“Greek Freak is HOOPING!”: LeBron James shockingly shows his support for Giannis and the Bucks during Game 6 against Chris Paul and the Suns
LeBron James takes to Twitter to show his support for Giannis and the Bucks by saying that the ‘Greek Freak is hooping in Game 6 against Chris Paul.
Giannis and the Bucks did something that hadn’t been done since the 2006 NBA Finals: win 3 straight games after being down 0-2. The momentum in these 2021 Finals has completely shifted in favor of the Bucks after they snagged a win on Chris Paul’s home floor in Game 5, a game that ended in incredible fashion as Jrue Holiday threw up an alley to Giannis to seal the deal.
Game 6 is currently taking place at Fiserv Forum and it’s looking as though the 2x MVP is the only one in the Bucks who came to play. While the Phoenix Suns have five players in double digits and all contributing to Chris Paul’s current team high of 17 points, Giannis has been a one-man show.
The ‘Greek Freak’ has dropped 37 points through three quarters while the rest of his Milwaukee squad has pitched in 40 points as a whole. Only Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis have reached the double digit mark at 11 and 10, respectively.
LeBron James roots for Giannis and the Bucks as they hold on to a one-point lead.
Much has been said about NBA players not showing Giannis Antetokounmpo any love on social media. Comparing how many tweets by current and retired players gets sent out when, say, Trae Young or Kevin Durant go off, Antetokounmpo simply does not get the same amount of appreciation.
It seems as though LeBron James is looking to put an end to the Giannis appreciation drought as he tweets out, “Greek Freak is hooping!” amidst the former DPOY’s torrid scoring run.
Greek Freak is HOOPING!!!!!!!

Number 34 on the Bucks has been scoring from all over the court, even dropping in a shot from beyond the arc, making it his 4th three of the NBA Finals. The story of the game for Giannis however, have been his free throws as he’s shot a staggering 12-13 from the charity stripe through three quarters
