Shaquille O’Neal is one of the funniest people in the show business and especially around the sport of basketball. The 7ft 1″ big man played in the NBA for 19 years, and achieved everything a player could hope for. He’s a 4x NBA Champion, 3x Finals MVP, 1x MVP, 15x All-Star, 3x All-Star MVP, and so much more.

When Shaq retired from the NBA in 2011, he joined TNT as an on-show analyst and started working on Inside the NBA. O’Neal has played a major role in helping the show become one of the most viewed basketball-related show on television.
Apart from his time there, Shaq also has several other ventures which have helped him amass a $400 Million net worth. One of the same has been his podcast in association with TNT. The Big Podcast is a huge hit where Shaq sits with Nischelle Turner and Spice Adams.
Shaquille O’Neal calls out Apple for their false advertising
The Big Shaq really likes his technology and keeps up with the trends. When the new iPhone came out, Shaq upgraded his device, just like many other Apple loyals did. However, something happened over the Thanksgiving weekend, which didn’t go well with Big Diesel.
O’Neal started the latest episode of the Big Podcast by apologizing to Spice and Nischelle for not calling them for Thanksgiving. He then went on to explain why, and the explanation doesn’t look too good for Apple.
“I had some awkward difficulties with my iPhone. First off, iPhone, you say the phone is waterproof. How deep? How Deep? Waterproof to me means you drop it in water, that thang sit, get it back out, and it works. It ain’t waterproof. It’s water-resistant. Don’t say waterproof!”
Shaq then went on to explain the circumstances which led to his phone falling into the water. I guess making videos in a pool isn’t really the brightest of ideas, is it, Mr. O’Neal?
Shaq has spent over $750,000 on iPhones
$750,000. Yes, you read the number right. Shaquille O’Neal has a huge net worth and doesn’t shy away from using it when needed. He hasn’t spent all this phone money on himself though.
Anytime a new iPhone drops, Shaq buys 50 of them, and gives them away to people. He drops them off in different locations, for people to just find and take, as they see fit.
That’s incredibly generous, and falls in line with exactly what Shaq does for the community every single time.
