"He been doing this!": Lonzo Ball joins in on the hype as LiAngelo Ball pours in an incredible 16 points in just 16 minutes during his NBA Summer League debut

Lonzo reacts to his brother LiAngelo Ball’s impressive NBA Summer League debut after he scores 16 points off the bench

After years of being cast aside by the NBA, and trying his hardest to find a way in, LiAngelo Ball was finally given a chance by the Charlotte Hornets. The franchise first invited the player to their training camp, from where they picked their Summer League roster. And after making the cut, the 22-year-old impressed massively during his debut.

For those that don’t know by now (how can you not, though?), the Ball brother came off the bench to score 16 points, in just 16 minutes. He also had 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, shot 50% from the field, and 5 of 8 from three.

Simply put, this was a very good start for the Ball brother. And among the many that have been going crazy over this game, is his own brother Lonzo Ball.

Let’s get into his reaction.

Who wants to bet that the Detroit Pistons were smacking their heads watching this performance?

Jokes aside though, with rumors spreading that the Hornets are already ready to provide Ball with an NBA contract, his shooting abilities will definitely come as a major point of excitement.

Throughout the game, Gelo looked confident with everything he did. And after it, Lonzo Ball just had to big-up his brother somehow. So here is what he posted on Twitter.

People often forget who the go-to scorer was in Chino Hills. It wasn’t Zo. It wasn’t Melo. It wasn’t Elijah Scott, and it wasn’t Onyeka Okongwu either. It was the middle brother, LiAngelo Ball.

His confidence while playing the game should come as no surprise. And as the Summer League goes on, we expect him to prove his detractors embarrassingly wrong.
