"I practice that shot every day man!": LiAngelo Ball reacts to his very impressive 16 point explosion off the bench in his NBA Summer League debut

LiAngelo Ball reacts to his 16 point outburst against the Portland Trail Blazers in just 16 minutes off the bench

If this is the level he can play at already, we’d be left aghast if LiAngelo Ball isn’t given an NBA contract by the end of the Summer League.

Many will want to say that NBA Twitter is overhyping his performance, and maybe it is a tad bit. However, Ball was admirable, considering he only got 16 minutes on the court. In that time, he had 16 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 5 of 10 from the field, and 5 of 8 from three.

Not bad at all for someone that was basically blacklisted by the NBA for the last couple of years.

Fans have obviously been going crazy about the player’s performance. But how does Gelo feel about his game?

Let’s get into it.

LiAngelo scored more three-pointers (5) than the rest of his team combined (3).

Needless to say, he made quite the impact off the bench. And at the end of the day, even if he was on the losing side of this (93-86), this was a very good outing for him. And after the game, he sat down with ‘3 Point Conversion’ for a postgame interview.

Frankly, it’s very encouraging to see LiAngelo Ball continue to stay focused even after such a good debut. And as we said, if he can continue at this level, we don’t see any way all three Ball Brothers aren’t in the NBA next season.
