“I am not in Michael Jordan and LeBron James’ category”: Shaquille O’Neal Demands Crown For Most Dominant Ever

The Shaquille O’Neal most younger fans know now is the hilarious analyst on TNT’s ‘Inside the NBA’. However, the older fans know he didn’t reach greatness that way. Far, far from it. During his prime, Shaquille O’Neal was the biggest bully in the NBA, a mean wrecking machine, if you will. Sure, most times he couldn’t shoot a free throw to save his life. But did he need to?

Nope. He could just grab the rebound and dominate on the inside so hard, the opponent would never want to pick up a basketball again.

After doing this for the majority of 19 years in the NBA, Shaq was crowned as the unanimous most dominant player of all time. And nobody questioned that crown of his… at least not until very recently.

And on the latest episode of ‘The Big podcast’, the man revealed just how sick he is of it.

If Shaquille O’Neal isn’t ranked as the most dominant player of all time, he doesn’t want to hear it

That heading isn’t hyperbole, although fans would be forgiven for seeing it that way.

No, it was something the man meant very literally while going off on his recent monologue.

Take a gander at the clip in the tweet below.

Shaquille O’Neal isn’t the only dominant player to play in the NBA. After all, players like Giannis Antetokounmpo, and perhaps even Zion Williamson come to mind. And they are only from the current era of the NBA.

However, this is Shaquille O’Neal we’re talking about.

There hasn’t been a player as dominant as him in the history of the NBA.

And frankly, we doubt there ever will be.

Shaquille O’Neal once bequeathed the title of Superman to someone else

Anyone that knows Shaquille O’Neal knows that he just loves being called Superman. Heck, the man not only has a tattoo of the comic book character but also got into a long, arduous beef with Dwight Howard for the title.

Does a person who has done all that sound like someone who would willingly pass on the title to someone else?

You’d think not, right?

But, as it turns out, he did actually do it. And the player to receive the honor was a certain Greek superstar.

Yes, it was Giannis Antetokounmpo to receive this prestigious title from the former Superman.

And frankly, we don’t think there is a player more fitting to have received it.
