"I hope Devin Booker got his dad, Giannis Antetokounmpo's approval": NBA Twitter ruthlessly roasts Suns star after he shockingly changes his haircut ahead of the Olympics

Devin Booker comes out with a new haircut ahead of the Olympics and fans in the NBA community just can’t stop laughing

As many fans know by now, at age 24, Devin Booker has already played in his first-ever NBA Finals. And frankly, he was stupendous during almost every game.

The Suns star averaged 28.4 points on 46.7% from the field, and 81.8% from the free-throw line. Yes, he only shot 30% from deep, But, considering this was his first time in the playoffs, these numbers are nothing less than incredible.

Still, losing in the NBA Finals has got to sting quite a bit from the player, especially after going 2-0 up. But, while others have a plethora of discrete ways to cope with the frustration, it seems Booker has gone with quite a cliché choice. And after seeing it, NBA Twitter has shown absolutely no mercy.

Let’s get into it.

For those that don’t know, Book has been sporting a high-top fade since the very beginning of his NBA career. While there have been a few variations here and there, for the most part, the high-top has stayed consistent.

After the recent NBA finals though, it appears that the player decided a change was needed. And well, here it is.

It’s probably because we as fans aren’t used to seeing the player this way, but this just doesn’t look right to us. It’s just… we can’t quite tell why. But, it just doesn’t. And it appears the NBA community not only agrees but also has a lot more to say about it. Here are just some of the responses.

Yikes. Brutal doesn’t begin to define NBA Twitter, does it?

Given the brilliance of Devin Booker though, we hardly think this will be the last NBA Finals of his career. And who knows? Perhaps he could end up winning it all with this new look just to spite his haters that much more.

If that’s what the future holds, we can’t wait to see it all unfold.
