Slowly and steadily, the Memphis Grizzlies are earning themselves the title of the most hated team in the NBA. After LeBron James led Miami Heat, there’s been not one team that received as much heat from the fans as Ja Morant and Co have in the past year, so maybe the Atlanta Hawks do when they visit New York, but that’s just one city.

They have been creating a lot of noise since finishing as the #2 seed in the NBA last year, crossing the lines in some Warriors games even in this season.
On Friday night, they crossed all boundaries and didn’t just disrespect one but two legends in American sports history. Firstly, LeBron James and his Lakers who surprisingly won the game against them dramatically, and also NFL legend Shannon Sharpe who sat beside the court supporting the Purple and Gold.
LeBron James has Shannon Sharpe’s back 365 days, 366 on leap years
All of it happened at the end of the second quarter when Sharpe was telling Dillion Brooks he was too small for LeBron. It almost looked like either Steven Adams or Ja’s dad Tee Morant would get into it with the Fox Sports 1 analyst who was having an exchange with Brooks after the game.
Brooks, who is already making his agenda to take over the league’s next bad boy apparent these days, took it to another level when he came out with these statements for James and Sharpe in the post-game interview.

However, The King made it a point as well to keep Sharpe in high regard and said this about him in his presser.
LeBron on Shannon Sharpe: “I ride with Shannon 365 days — 366 on a leap year — 24/7. So that’s my guy. I always got his back. And he’s got mine. He can talk with the best of them, for sure.” pic.twitter.com/bAHMuPZkix

Shannon Sharpe, whom Dillon Brooks called a “blogger” and “pedestrian” is an NFL HoF
Frankly speaking, none of the Grizzlies haven’t done anything to mock any NBA team, let alone a man who is a 3x Super Bowl champion and a legend of Denver Broncos’ history. But maybe they are just doing it intentionally, to be according to fans.
“Shannon didn’t do anything,” Tee Morant told ESPN about him hugging it out with Sharpe by the third quarter. “Hey, he was doing like we do in South Carolina. We talk our s—. South Carolina, stand up!”
Meanwhile, the junior Morant said he won’t say anything on the subject, and just he wants to “let” Shannon live. Okay, Ja we hear you!
