After 4 consecutive losses, the Washington Wizards bounced back to win a nail-biter against the star-studded Brooklyn Nets. Westbrook was the catalyst for the win, egging his team on with his contagious intensity and scoring that dagger 3 at the end to win them the game.

From Westbrook’s post-game interview, it seems that he had been playing through an injury during the initial part of the season. That is in fact good news for Wizards fans, as the best of ‘Brodie’ is yet to come.

There had been a lot of chatter on social media that Westbrook wasn’t playing like himself and he wasn’t a good fit for Beal and the Wizards. Scoring a season-high 41 points, Westbrook is trying to prove his worth to the Wizards organization.
The Wizards have the worst record in the league with 4 wins and 12 losses. But if the 6-foot-3 point guard continues to play the way he did and reduce some burden of Bradley Beal’s shoulders, the Washington team could definitely be a force to reckon with.
