LeBron James is one of those players that can still just decide he is not in the mood to lose. And if the anger and frustration are at just the right level, the man will just put the whole team on his back and find a way to win almost all on his own.

Of course, when most players can do it, they are usually either right about to enter their prime, or smack-dab in the middle of it. But as you may know already, the King is doing this at 38 years old.
But this can’t just happen. There needs to be a significant discernible turning point for the player to go from being mediocre to an absolute force of nature.
And NBA Twitter has confirmed that it has found it.
LeBron James’s deleted vow was a sign of his attitude toward losing games in the NBA
It may be easy to forget at times, but LeBron James is the most accomplished player of this generation. So, after winning 4 championships and 10 NBA finals, of course, the man isn’t too jazzed about being on a losing team.
And perhaps that is what caused his turning point in the first place.
Take a look at the tweet below.
LeBron since deleting this tweet:

5-1 record(h/t @hejtweeter) pic.twitter.com/nRCv3d132O

Being 5-1 since this tweet, especially given the Lakers’ form from the rest of this season, is significant. It not only shows how badly LeBron James wants to win, and the lengths he is willing to go to for it.
And perhaps also that he can still be the best player on a contending team.
What are LeBron James’s averages on the season?
LeBron James is currently averaging 28.9 points, 8.2 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game.
The King is also shooting 51.1% from the field, 29.9% from three, and 75% from the charity stripe.
