Russell Westbrook and LeBron James seem to have a taste in fashion way too outlandish for Charles Barkley’s liking.

Los Angeles is the USA’s fashion and glamour capital, and always has been. Westbrook hails from Long Beach and has played in UCLA in the past. It seems that his bold dressing choices will fit perfectly into life in Los Angeles, now that he’s a Laker.
Westbrook is usually one of the most loudly dressed NBA players, if not really best-dressed, so to speak. He has the physique to pull off any outfit, but some days he just seems to want us all talking about what he’s wearing, judging from his choices.
The man has been seen wearing the flyest costumes on the planet, only to turn around and wear the equivalent of rags the very next day. Nevertheless, he always keeps the fashion world buzzing whenever he emerges in public.
Charles Barkley roasted LeBron James’ newest teammate Russell Westbrook for his fashion sense
Charles Barkley has been a long-standing critic of Westbrook’s dressing and fashion sense. The Suns legend has been noted saying Westbrook looks like a homeless man at various points. One of those occasions came after a press conference in February 2018.
LeBron James and Stephen Curry had picked their teams for the Weekend’s signature game a couple of nights before. Westbrook was named to LeBron’s team, but he seemed a bit disconcerted by the placement of his name – last on the list.
His fears were allayed when a reporter informed the Brody that LeBron’s team had been listed alphabetically. Westbrook, who was wearing an abomination of a shirt at the time in all honesty, seemed mighty relieved.
The TNT crew then cut to Charles Barkley and co in the studio. The Chuckster promptly berated Westbrook for his choice of outfits:
“If LeBron saw the outfit, he would have picked him (Russ) last.”
“Come on, man. Sam Presti just gave you $200 million and you’re going to dress like THAT? That’s a fashion faux-pas, looks like the dog that acts before the game.”
