“I’ll Bring My H*rny Toad Next Time”: Luka Doncic Regrets Not Bringing An Aroused Amphibian With Him Following Lakers Loss
Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks played the Los Angeles Lakers on quite the historic night. Not only was it a Christmas day game against LeBron James, but it was also the day of the unveiling for the statue of Dirk Nowitzki, further immortalizing the man who brought Mark Cuban his only NBA title.
Doncic played with Dirk for a single season, that being his rookie year in 2018-19, in what was a perfect ‘passing of the torch’ moment between the two of them. It took the German-American power forward close to a decade and a half to bring home a title and with the way the Mavs are currently structured, it seems Luka might be on a similar trajectory.
The Mavs did however, pick up a victory over the Lakers on Christmas this despite being down 17-6 at one point. Their record-breaking 51-point 3rd quarter put them ahead for good to go along with Luka’s 32/9/9, ruining LeBron’s 38-point night.
Luka Doncic claims to have a h*rny toad
Luka Doncic has bene living in Dallas, Texas for close to half a decade now. So, it’s safe to say that he’s slowly getting integrated in Texas culture. His tunnel fit for their game against the Lakers was a traditional cowboy outfit, something Christian Wood greatly appreciated.
Following the game, during his media availability however, Doncic expressed some regrets over a single missed opportunity of his. This was when he realized he didn’t bring his supposed ‘h*rny’ toad with him to compliment his cowboy outfit.
Luka Doncic was upset he forgot to accessorize his pregame cowboy outfit today with his new pet: “I forgot my horny toad at the house, so next time I’ll bring that.”
What? “My horny toad.”
TCU? “No.”
Why do you have one? “Because I’m Texan.”

What does this even mean? Well, if he means it in the literal sense, I guess Doncic has a toad that is overtly s*xual in nature? Which is hilarious by itself. This clearly isn’t a metaphor or analogy of any kind as why would it be?
In all seriousness, this is all probably a joke by Luka as it is hard to imagine that he has a toad as a pet that just happens to be h*rny.
Luka Doncic and the Mavs continue to middle
While the Mavs did pick up a decent win on Christmas, they continue to be a ‘middle of the pack’ team. They’re currently 18-16 in the Western Conference despite all-time great level of play from Luka Doncic who is neck-and-neck with Joel Embiid for the scoring title.
Their next 4 games are against the Knicks, Spurs, and Rockets and so hopefully they can pick up a couple wins against two tanking teams and a squad that is on a 3-game slide.
