Is Anthony Davis playing tonight vs Blazers

Is ‘Anthony Davis playing tonight’ has been a burning question for all Lakers fans post his back spasms in game 4. Lakers’ have released their injury report.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis suffered back-spasms in the Lakers’ game 4 victory and ended up on the bench for most of the second half of that one-sided clash.

Davis surely would have benefited from three extra days of break after the players boycotted the scheduled playoff-games due to an unarmed black man Jacob Blake getting shot seven times by the police.

The Lakers’ will resume their playoff series tonight as they take on the Portland Trail Blazers who are without superstar Damian Lillard. “Bubble MVP” Lillard injured his knee in game 4 and left the bubble to get further tests done.

The Lakers’ will look to close out the series tonight as it will give them extra days of rest going into the next round. The Lakers bounced back from a disastrous game 1 to thump the Blazers in the next three games to take a 3-1 lead. But, the Lakers might have to get the job done tonight without the services of Anthony Davis.

Is Anthony Davis playing tonight vs Blazers?

Anthony Davis has been listed as ‘probable’ for tonight’s game following some back spasms that he felt during Game 4.

LeBron James and Kenatvious Caldwell-Pope too have been listed as probable, with Rajon Rondo ‘questionable’ to take the court tonight.

AD suffered from back spasms in game 4 and with the Lakers in the driving seat, it will be sensible to not risk him for tonight. Davis has always had injury concerns over the course of his career. T

The Lakers  will hope that the star maintains his body for the entirety of the playoffs. With the Blazers missing Lillard and fellow guard McCollum playing through a back injury, the Lakers can surely seal the series without their big man tonight.

Anthony Davis in the playoffs

Anthony Davis has been leading scorer in the series so far for the Lakers. The all-star has managed three double-double’s in the series so far and has dominated the paint on both ends of the floor.

Davis has continued with his performances on the defensive end in the playoffs. With his size and versatile skill-set, he is a tough match for anyone in the league and the Blazers’ big-men haven’t had an answer in the series yet.

With the Lakers projected to face tougher challengers in the Clippers and Bucks down the road, a fit and healthy Davis will be a key to clinch those tough battles ahead. With Davis in full form, backed by “Playoff LeBron” and an able supporting cast, the Lakers’ will be favored to go all the way in Orlando.
