Is Jaylen Brown playing tonight vs Suns? Celtics release knee injury update ahead of game against Chris Paul and co

What is Jaylen Brown’s availability tonight against Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns with regard to his left knee soreness?

Jaylen Brown has come out all guns blazing this 2020-21 NBA campaign. The Boston Celtics wing has taken massive strides in his offensive game this season. He is now averaging 26.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.

He missed the first game of his season two nights back against the top tier Los Angeles Clippers. The Clips were without a star guard as well in Paul George. The Celts managed to edge out LA off the back of Jayson Tatum’s 34 points, in a game that went down to the wire.

Jaylen Brown missed the game due to soreness in his left knee. It is this injury that necessitates his presence on the injury report once again, ahead of the Celts’ game against the Phoenix Suns tonight.

Following their win against the juggernaut Clippers, the Celtics look to carry this momentum forward against Chris Paul and co. Getting Jaylen Brown back would be a massive boost for the squad.

Unfortunately, the 6’6″ guard has been ruled out for tonight’s game. The Celtics will be without their second-leading scorer for the second game in a row. It is unclear what Brown’s return timetable is. But he will surely be back in due time as the Celtics have placed him as day-to-day.

He really came into his own when his fellow Celtics star teammate Jayson Tatum was ruled out for two weeks due to Health and Safety Protocols. Brown used this as an opportunity to showcase his refined skills. His ball-handling has become much tighter. He seems more explosive off the dribble, the off-the-dribble 3 looks great, and he’s averaging a career high in assists per game.

His rise to stardom has caused most NBA fans to lobby for Jaylen Brown’s All-Star candidacy this season.
