Is Jayson Tatum playing tonight vs Bucks? Boston Celtics release injury report ahead of make-or-break clash against Giannis Antetokounmpo and co
The Boston Celtics will have the services of All-Star starter Jayson Tatum for tonight’s game against Milwaukee, barring pre-game injuries.
It has been an utterly demoralizing season for Celtics fans thus far. The team headed into this season with the weight of 3 Conference Finals appearances since 2017. Their play as a unit this season has been a far cry from their excellent play last year.
There’s a clear lack of cohesion across the roster. The loss of Gordon Hayward without any viable replacement was sure to hurt their wing depth. Marcus Smart has yet to shake off the rust he accumulated while rehabbing an injury from January.
The Celtics missed Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker sorely in their loss to the Grizzlies on Tuesday night. They will be aiming to get back to winning ways this time, but they’re faced with the formidable challenge of the Greek Freak.
Milwaukee has been in imperious form over the past month or so. They are looking as good as ever with Jrue Holiday fully fit and firing. Getting a W for the Celtics will need them to be on their A+ game.
Is Jayson Tatum playing tonight vs Milwaukee Bucks?
Both Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum will be back in action for tonight’s game. Tatum was out from the previous game with a fever, but he is now back to match fitness.
Tatum has been averaging over 25 points per game this season. His efficiency went down in the second quarter of the season, so he will doubly need to be aggressive. The Celtics need to take the game to the Bucks to stand a chance tonight.
Tonight will be the third time all season Kemba Walker, Marucs Smart, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have all started together.

Kemba’s presence will make things easier. The 4-time All-Star has been back in form, improving with each rep after a rough comeback streak. Kemba has been quite consistent from downtown over the past 3 game weeks, which will be great for the Celtics’ spacing.
