Kevin Durant has travelled to Philadelphia for the Nets’ game against the 76ers tonight, but he’s listed as ‘questionable’.

Kevin Durant is one of the scariest players and a nightmare for defenders. Ever since the ‘Slim Reaper’ came back from his horrific Achilles injury, he has been shockingly playing better than ever.
On Friday night, Kevin Durant was pulled out of the game twice, against the Toronto Raptors due to the league’s health and safety protocols. He was pulled out off the game prior to the tip-off due to COVID-19 contact tracing. He was allowed to enter the game midway in the first quarter.
After playing for 19 minutes, Durant was asked to leave the game yet again. A positive result was confirmed for a person Durant had interacted with. This was easily one of the strangest and confusing moments this season. The league’s issued a statement explaining Durant’s confusing situation:
“Under the league’s health and safety protocols, we do not require a player to be quarantined until a close contact has a confirmed positive test. During the game, a positive result was returned for the person Durant interacted with. … Once that test was confirmed positive, out of an abundance of caution, Durant was removed from the game.”

‘Nets might play without their two superstars’: Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving could both be out tonight
The Nets had Kevin Durant on the floor only for 19 minutes against the Raptors. Those 19 minutes weren’t enough for Durant to have a winning impact on the team, as the Raptors won 123-117.
Due to the league’s health and safety protocols, Kevin Durant is listed as questionable to play against the number 1 team of the East. He is likely to miss a few games, yet is listed as questionable. That’s not the only blow the Nets are suffering.
Brooklyn will also be playing without their prolific scoring point guard Kyrie Irving. The 6-foot-2 guard is listed as out with a right index finger sprain. When the head coach of the Nets was asked about whether or not Durant will be playing against Joel Embiid and Co. he said:
“I don’t believe he’ll come to Philly.” Nash continued, “You know, it’s just a contact tracing procedure and I think it’s to be determined, on how much time he’ll have to miss. But we’re just gathering information still at this point.”

The 14-10 Nets will now face the red hot Philadelphia 76ers who have been playing some tremendous basketball this season. The Sixers are topping the Eastern Conference with a 16-7 record. Without the likes of their superstars – Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, it’ll be a tough match to contain Joel Embiid and his Sixers team.
