“Is Kevin Durant trying to be like LeBron James?”: Reports emerge of the Nets’ superstar trying to recruit Kevin Love during the Olympics training
Nets superstar Kevin Durant rumored to be recruiting Kevin Love as the two share a room during Olympic Training Camp in Las Vegas
The Tokyo Olympics is just around the corner. With less than 20 days left for the Opening Ceremony, Team USA is getting their preparation in. The USA Basketball teams, both men and women, will begin their training camp in Las Vegas on the 6th. They would also share the camp with other national teams such as Australia, Nigeria, Argentina, and reigning champions Spain.
The USA Men’s Basketball team is full of stars. The roster includes big names like Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard, Devin Booker, Draymond Green, and more. Greg Popovich is the head coach, and he has multiple NBA coaches as his assistants, including Stever Kerr and Llyod Pierce.
Is Kevin Durant recruiting Kevin Love?
The Cleveland Cavaliers and Kevin Love are mutually unhappy with each other. However, the Cavs cannot trade Love as no other team wants to pick a contract as hefty as his. It has been rumored that the most likely scenario is that the two parties mutually agree to a buy-out.
Let’s put that information aside for a second. It has been shared that Kevin Love and Kevin Durant would be bunking together at the Las Vegas camp.
Source tells me Kevin Love and Kevin Durant will be rooming together during Olympic training camp in Las Vegas.
Also adds that the Nets are at the top of Love’s list in the event he is bought out.

This seems like a golden chance for KD and the Nets to solidify another solid role player on their roster. However, nothing can be said for sure till the time the Cavs and Love work something out together.
Kevin Durant and co. would be glad to reunite Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, who played together for several seasons in Cleveland and won a ring together.
