The defending NBA champions, Golden State Warriors, got outplayed by this year’s 3rd seed of the West, the Sacramento Kings, in the opening game of the first round. Stephen Curry had 30 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists in the 126-123 loss on the road.
The baby-faced assassin played over 37 minutes in the game, was a game-high +11, and did not let the Kings slide away whenever he was on the court.
It was those 10 minutes he was off the floor when De’Aaron Fox and Co pounced on their opportunity to take the game away from the Dubs. How many minutes will he play tonight if he does take the court?

Jordan Poole, who had an ankle twist in Game 1, might not play this game. That makes the possibility of Steph playing 42-45 minutes even higher, maybe even the whole game if it were up to him. It might be up to him tonight.
Do the Kings stand a chance to win the series?
If they win Game 2 as well, it will be close to impossible for the Warriors to make a comeback. Knowing how dreadful they have been at away games (12-30) this season, there’s no way they stop the Kings from winning at least one more game at Golden 1 Center after Game 2.
So, they have to win this one at any cost. But expect the Fox and Domantas Sabonis-led side to go for an all-out attack on the Dubs tonight. If they are successful to out-rebound the Warriors as much as they did in Game 1, the Kings might just get a blow away victory this time.
