“Is Stephen Curry Playing Tonight vs Knicks?”: Update on 4x NBA Champion Post Shoulder Injury

It’s been a rocky road for the Golden State Warriors, who haven’t looked like the defending champions off-late. Touted as the favorites to repeat, Steve Kerr and co are currently 15-16 and rank 11th in the western conference standings, marking a sign of worry for Dub Nation.

Fortunately, Bay Area’s favorite son, Stephen Curry, has continued from where he left off in the NBA Finals, putting up stats similar to his 2015-16 unanimous MVP season. However, fate wasn’t in the Warriors’ favor, as the superstar guard recently sustained a shoulder injury.

Sadly the worst nightmare of Warriors fans would come true, as Curry is now scheduled to miss the next couple of weeks due to a labrum injury. However, on the bright side, the four-time champion requires no injury.

The Warriors are 1-3 without their leading scorer so far. Gearing up to face the Knicks, the Warriors visit the basketball mecca in New York.

Is Stephen Curry playing against the Knicks?

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to witness Curry shoot the lights out at Madison Square Garden, this time around, an arena where he broke the all-time 3-point record. Thus making it an even tougher task for Coach Kerr and his crew.

Nonetheless, one is hopeful of upcoming talent Jordan Poole, who had a career-high 43-points against the Raptors. The 23-year-old has averaged 30.8 PPG and 5.4 APG on 47.1% shooting from the field in the 5-games without Steph this season.

On the other hand, the Knicks are on a 7-game winning streak, with the likes of Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, and RJ Barrett, stepping up their game, averaging above 20 PPG in the recent winning streak.

For the Warriors to win minus Curry, it’s time the other half of the Splash Brothers gives us another show similar to the one in Houston. A recent addition to the Warriors, Donte DiVincenzo needs to step up in this moment of crisis as well.
