“Ja Morant Fightin For His Life On That Treadmill”: Donovan Mitchell Trolls Grizzlies Star For Looking Breathless Next To Leonard Fournette
Ja Morant is one of the most explosive players, but Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell couldn’t help but laugh at him running next to Bucs RB Leonard Fournette.
Leonard Fournette is fresh off a Super Bowl run a dominant postseason in which he ran roughshod over his opponents. If you want to improve your running, then who better to learn from than a Super Bowl champion running back.
Morant certainly took this route, training with Leonard Fournette, and then replied to Fournette posting a video of it online. That’s where things really went wrong for him, honestly.

Donovan Mitchell Trolls Ja Morant For Looking Breathless Next To Leonard Fournette
Leonard Fournette definitely has his running game polished as you can see from the video. It makes sense, considering his entire career in the NFL is based on his running ability.
The same probably can’t be said about Ja Morant who looks very awkward in the above video. Donovan Mitchell noticed this and couldn’t help but slight the Grizzlies guard a little bit.

Honestly, if you look at the video again you can see why Mitchell’s reply probably applies. However, anyone running next to an NFL running back is surely set to look a little out of sorts, even an NBA star.
Ja Morant certainly will be looking to improve his game after leading the Grizzlies to the playoffs this year. Memphis was bounced in the first round to Donovan Mitchell’s Jazz, but they remained competitive in most games, and the fact that they made it to the playoffs in Morant’s second year shows amazing development.
The future is bright for Memphis, and despite looking a little awkward, it’s good to see Morant training hard and with other athletes. Mitchell and the Jazz will also be looking to regroup for next season after a disappointing playoff exit in the second round in a season in which they finished with the first seed.
