“Join your brother Kyle Lowry on the Lakers”: DeMar DeRozan sends out a cryptic tweet in response to rumors of him joining LeBron James and co. in LA
DeMar DeRozan sends out a cryptic tweet amid rumors linking him to a free agency move to the Los Angeles Lakers
DeMar DeRozan has been no stranger to trade and free agency rumors for the last couple of years. Countless NBA insiders, on different occasions, have reported that the player is unhappy with the San Antonio Spurs, and wants to play in LA. But it just seemed that every time something or the other fell through, and the player chose to stay put.
This time though, the links are stronger than ever. And at this point, it isn’t even just DeRozan anymore.
Sources now believe that Kyle Lowry and the Spurs star are planning on a reunion in LA next season.
As you would expect, even the neutral fans have been going crazy over all this speculation. But, instead of confirming anything, DeMar DeRozan seems to be going the secretive route, simply posting a cryptic tweet amid all the rumors.
Let’s get into it.
DeMar DeRozan chooses to simply watch on as the rumors about his links to the Lakers unfold this offseason
DeMar DeRozan has hardly been the kind of individual that holds himself back. If he does feel strongly about something, chances are he’s going to put either a tweet or an Instagram story out about his thoughts on the topic.
This time though, it seems the star is practicing to be just a bit more reserved. Here is what he tweeted out recently.

A tweet that simply shows an emoji of a person in front of a laptop. As cryptic as they come.
Frankly, we think that it’s the star implying that he is doing nothing but watching on as everyone else goes crazy. But, we aren’t mind readers, so chances are we could be wrong on this one.
At the end of the day though, this is all still unsolved. Will DeMar DeRozan really join the Lakers during free agency? Or does he have some other destination in mind?
Only time will tell.
