Jusuf Nurkic has a hilarious reaction to Damian Lillard trade rumors: “3 or 4? More like 34!”
Portland Trailblazers big man Jusuf Nurkic reacts to NBA trade rumors circulating with Damian Lillard in the midst of them
The Portland Trailblazers are having a bit of a rough patch towards the rear end of their season. The Blazers are currently 4 and 6 in their last 10 games. A recent three-game win streak has stopped them from spiraling further down on the points table. The Trailblazers have risen up collectively as a group to register their last three wins. Damian Lillard, who was averaging a little under 30 for the season, had been averaging 21 in the recent Blazers’ slump.
Even though the Blazers are back to their winning ways, it still did not stop the rumor mills from doing what they do best. Recently, there were reports that Damian Lillard had approached the front office and demanded a trade. Lillard, who has made it clear that he is in Portland for the long run, refuted the same claims.
Jusuf Nurkic hilariously replies to a Damian Lillard trade rumor
A page on Twitter by the name of NBA Central recently shared a post that shared what the Knicks are willing to give up to acquire Lillard.
The New York Knicks are watching for an opportunity to pry Damian Lillard from Portland, per @NYPost_Berman
“The Knicks likely would be willing to trade 3 or 4 of their 1st-rounders in a deal for Lillard if that means they can hold onto Barrett and Obi Toppin.” pic.twitter.com/U332By87eJ

The Blazers’ big knows his teammate’s commitment to the team and had no doubts there. However, he was a bit offended by the low numbers of picks the Knicks were willing to offer for a player of Lillard’s caliber. He made a joke about the same when he quoted the prior tweet.
3 or 4 ??? More like 34 😂😂😂😂 #STAYME7O https://t.co/jiY00VjeHU

Even though Damian Lillard is adamant that he is there to stay, at the end of the day the NBA is a business. One can never predict what can happen. If any team wants to make a chance at getting Lillard, they would have to show up with some big lucrative offer.
