He played a pivotal role in the 2014 Spurs championship, earning the Finals MVP honors for the same. After a few more years with the Spurs, he moved on to Toronto, wherein his one single season there, Kawhi led them to their first-ever NBA Championship.

Throwback to when a lost coupon made Kawhi Leonard panic

Even though Kawhi Leonard’s speculated net worth is well over $70 million, he still is a regular human just like us. He loves a good deal when he sees it. Apart from their team salary, another way the NBA players earn is their endorsements. Back in 2015, Kawhi was with the Spurs and had signed his 5 years, $94 million contract. One of his endorsements was with Wing Stop.

Being as successful as he is, Kawhi could literally have bought any meal in the world he wanted. However, when he lost the free chicken wing coupons that came with his endorsement, he was panicked. A later Sports Illustrated feature about the same shared how Wing Stop generously replenished the Klaw’s supply of the free chicken wings.
