“LeBron James was poised to text Kawhi Leonard ‘Join me!'”: Skip Bayless triggers NBA fans with yet another legendarily hateful take about the Lakers star
Skip Bayless accuses LeBron James to be praying on the Clippers’ downfall to potentially indulge in tampering for Kawhi Leonard.
After being 2-0 down in their series against the Mavericks, Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers have finally tied the series up at 3-3.
This has been an exciting series, to say the least. Until game-6, it was Luka Doncic and his crew who largely had the winds blowing their way. However, with their wins in games 3, 4, and 6, Los Angeles is looking pretty confident as the series heads to the 7th game.
Most in the NBA community couldn’t be happier that this series is going to 7 games, and why not? When a matchup is this much fun to watch, who wouldn’t want it to last longer?
However, according to Skip Bayless, it seems that LeBron James can’t quite get into a celebratory mood. And it isn’t because of his first-round exit.
Skip Bayless believes LeBron James is waiting for the right time to acquire Kawhi Leonard
You know, you’d think that LeBron James being out of the playoffs AND the Clippers winning, would keep Skip Bayless happy. But, it seems the man is just built different.
Yes, the 69-year-old has not only managed to be unhappy but also managed to bring the King back into his nonsense. After Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers to an incredible victory in game-6, Bayless could’ve just celebrated. Instead, he tweeted this out.
You can bet LeBron was poised to text Kawhi “JOIN ME” the moment the game ended, if the Clippers had lost. Kawhi can be a free agent. LeBron obviously needs him.

Now, to be fair to the guy, the tales of LeGM run rampant in the NBA, and it is likely most are true. However, bringing him into the conversation to mock him, while the player is away tending to Space Jam 2? Suffice to say, it was never going to go down well with fans.
That being said though, could this indeed happen? Could Kawhi leave for the other team in town if the Clippers lose game-7?
Only time will tell.
