“Kevin Durant is so good, he’s on his own planet”: Skip Bayless definitively places Nets star ahead of LeBron James as the world’s best player
During a recent episode of Undisputed television personality and analyst Skip Bayless, declared Kevin Durant as the best player in the world.
Skip Bayless has been an advocate of Kevin Durant’s talent since his days in Oklahoma City Thunder. The sports columnist has always been in awe of Durants ability to efficiently score the ball. KD’s greatness was recently on display in Game 2 against the Milwaukee Bucks.
The 2x NBA finals MVP decimated the Bucks 125-86, with him being the leading scorer on the winning team. Durant shot an effortless 66.7% from both the field as well as from the 3-point line.
Bayless wasted no time in drawing Durants comparison with Lakers superstar LeBron James. The Undisputed analyst has been a critic of LeBron James since his initial days with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The 2x NBA champion has been leading the Nets’ offense making, them one of the top contenders to win the 2021 NBA title. Durant put on a spectacle in his recent performance in Game 2 against the Bucks, who have the back-to-back MVP and 2020 Defensive Player of the Year, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

In his 7-games so far in the Playoffs, Durant has been 50/55/91 from the field. While citing this fact, Bayless was quick enough to add LeBron James’ inefficiency from the free-throw line, especially during the clutch moments of the game.
While making his case for Kevin Durant as the best player in the world, Bayless took a shot at the LA Lakers who were recently eliminated in the first round of the Playoffs. The Undisputed analyst even went on to say that LeBron James had father time on him:
“Kevin Durant is otherworldly. He’s in some other stratosphere from LeBron as a scorer and a shooter. We’ve never seen anything like this before.”
