The Brooklyn Nets have done incredibly well so far this year. Despite injuries and absences for their big three, the team currently sits at the top of the Eastern Conference. And with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving finally back out on the court, things are starting to look that much better for the franchise.
The Slim Reaper’s return in particular was very encouraging for the franchise. In just 28 minutes, Durant recorded 33 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, while shooting 57.1% from the field, and 66.7% from beyond the arc.
It seems that this performance hasn’t just made fans of the Brooklyn Nets happy. Controversial analyst Skip Bayless was also watching this game and had a lot to say on Twitter right after it.

Skip Bayless hardly needs an introduction to those in the NBA community. The 69-year-old has made a living off hot takes and throwing shots at players.
Just this season, he has roasted LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic and so many more superstars. This is why his recent tweet comes as such a surprise for NBA fans worldwide.
The ‘Undisputed’ show host has indeed backed teams and players before. However, it is such a rare occurrence, it is quite the phenomenon when it does happen. And very recently, fans of the league got to witness and feel the absurdity of this phenomenon.
Kevin Durant proves ONCE AGAIN he’s Best Player on the Planet. The man has played only 24 games this yr, returned today AND SCORED 33 IN JUST 28 MINUTES as Nets w/o Harden easily beat the no-joke Suns. Come on, Blind Witnesses, give it up. KD>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>LBJ

Jokes aside, Skip Bayless is a fan of the NBA at the end of the day. To be fair to the analyst, he has maintained his trust in the LA Clippers and the Brooklyn Nets since the start of the season.
And honestly, this is much better from the analyst. Fans would likely much rather see him support someone he likes, rather than unjustifiably bring players down just for the ratings. Let’s hope he can continue to appreciate the greatness of the players today.
