Kevin Durant was reportedly at an album-listening party for Kanye West’s new album before flying off to Tokyo for the Olympics. 

Kevin Durant and Team USA have had a rollercoaster of exhibition games as the four they played resulted in a 2-2 record. Their losses against Australia and Nigeria brought about a significant amount of suspicion on whether or not the roster that was put together was enough to snag gold at Tokyo 2020. 

However, following great games from guys like Damian Lillard, Kevin Durant, and Keldon Johnson, USA brought ack their momentum by demolishing Argentina and beating Spain by a respectable margin of victory. With the squad about to leave Las Vegas to suit up for the real deal Olympics, KD seemingly decided to link up with a legend in the music industry.

Speculation surrounding a new Kanye West album has reached an all-time high following his public separation from Kim Kardashian. To add fuel to the fire, he’s been showing up in masks to all public events while having an on-and-off again relationship with Irina Shayk. 

Kevin Durant seemingly loved Kanye West’s newest album. 

Kevin Durant has been around notable artists ever since he started to ascend into superstardom within the NBA. Most notably, Drake is someone who the ‘Slim Reaper’ has been seen with on multiple occasions. He was also on an episode of Carpool Karaoke alongside Travis Scott over two years ago. 

Seems like ‘6 God’ and the ‘AstroWorld’ singer aren’t the only legendary artists he’s in cahoots with as he was invited to an album listening party for ‘Ye’s newest album.

Justin Laboy, famous for his viral tweets, confirmed that not only was KD listening to West’s album, but dancing to it as well. This should be expected considering the fact that Kanye West is one of the greatest artists and producers of the 21st century. 

As fans wait patiently for Kanye West to drop his album soon, they can take solace in the fact that KD, someone who takes his music very seriously, loved it. Big things are in store of Kanye fans.
