The Suns forward has been pretty great for them over their past 7 games in the playoffs. They’re on a 7-game win streak ever since Crowder shook off his bad shooting and began contributing offensively.
He’s always been a pest on the defensive end, ever since his initial days in the league with the Mavericks. Crowder has also been a lot more reliable as a 3-point shooter over the past 3 seasons that he’s played.
He’s been responsible for guarding his opponents’ best perimeter players all through his career. This means that he’s matched up with Giannis, Harden, LeBron and Nikola Jokic over the past 3 playoffs.
Crowder has held his own for the most part, and he’s finally come up with a W over James for the first time in his career this year. He let us all know exactly how he feels about James and co’s overconfident demeanor in the final minutes of the series.
Jae Crowder opens up about clowning LeBron James with his salsa dance moves
Jae Crowder blazed the Internet 2 weeks ago by mocking LeBron James with a salsa dance during Game 6. He was ejected for his antics with 30 seconds or so left in the game, but it was worth it.
This is what Crowder had to say about the incident as a recent guest on the Jalen & Jacoby Show:
“I’m up for the challenge of guarding LeBron James, I don’t know what else to say. I wanna guard the best player because I wanna give my team a chance to win. Because I feel like I can do a good job of making it tough.”
“I don’t stop anybody, we can’t stop guys in the league with the way they score and the way the league is scoring. But you wanna make it as tough as possible on guys and be an a-hole sometimes and I do that here, but obviously LeBron is a great player.”
“Game 3 they tried to clown us. I don’t know if y’all saw that, but they were trying to clown us a little bit in game 3. I told myself that once we get this thing done, I got a few moves in my bag for them.”
“But I couldn’t dance in Game 3, though. I had to wait till Game 6, till we got the job done a little bit.”
