LeBron James and Skip Bayless

LeBron James and the Lakers found a supporter in Skip Bayless during Game 3 vs Blazers, as the NBA analyst subtly mocked Damian Lillard and Blazers.

It is not surprising to find Skip Bayless in a heated war-of-words with the NBA players. The NBA analyst is very outspoken and critical of teams and players. However, this recent feud between Damian Lillard of the Blazers and Bayless has got the analyst rooting for the Lakers. This is surprising as Bayless has also criticized LeBron in the past.

Skip Bayless on Lakers & LeBron

While the Blazers took on the Lakers in Game 3 of the Playoff first round, Skip Bayles tweeted about how LeBron has been dominating the Blazers in the first round. Lakers won the game last night 118-106, taking a 2-1 lead in the B07 series.

The tweet was meant to mock Damian Lillard and the Blazers, who were initially considered good enough to even sweep the Lakers. Skip Bayless, however, had constantly been brining Lillard down, emphasising on how he wasn’t as clutch and as good as the NBA fraternity made him out to be.

With LeBron firing on all cylinders, Dame and co. will really need to play out of their skins in order to overturn the deficit. However, from what we see on the court, it is going to be a herculean task.

Now, with Bayless having never really supported LeBron James all through his career, Kendrick Perkins was quick to point how the hate for Dame had led him to join the ‘Kin James’ bandwagon.

Skip Bayless is known for his harsh criticism and has even been harsh on superstar LeBron James. However, this time he seems to be supporting the Lakers just to see the Blazers fall out in the first round.
