‘LeBron James can get really pissed during playoffs’
Taking to “The Athletic”, Smith shared his experience playing along with King James as he said “I know how Bron can get pissed and people are not going to know how to deal with it, So it gives that gap of understanding still all about winning because as we’ve all seen in the M.J. doc (“The Last Dance”)… he was so hard on his teammates and stuff like that”.
The 34-year-old knows the attitude James posses in playoffs as no other Lakers player have ever played with LeBron in Playoffs.
With Smith coming in, Lakers have a player who knows how to deal with LeBron’s demands during crunch situations in the playoffs.. “But we got a case like LeBron. It’s different because obviously he does everything he wants to do to win and everything else, It kind of comes off in the wrong way sometimes.… It’s just a good balance between myself and him, I think, because he knows just as well he can challenge anybody else, I’ll challenge him. And vice versa.” Smith further added.

JR Smith had a tough time before joining the Lakers
Former Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard made his last appearance back in 2018 and in the two-year span, Smith was eager to step out on the court, but was unable to do so as no team has picked him.
The period was hard for Smith as on Monday, in an interview he said: “I went through a very depressed state for a long time”.
Lakers have a great chance of going deep into the playoffs and maybe even clinching that elusive NBA title. And it will be wonderful to see if the JR Smith-LeBron James chemistry has any role to play in it.
