"LeBron James chose Damian Lillard over Chris Paul?!": Skip Bayless blasts the Lakers' star for trying to upstage his close friend on one of the biggest nights of his career

NBA Analyst Skip Bayless launches an assault on LeBron James, questions his priorities after he chose a WNBA game with Damian Lillard over Chris Paul

The Phoenix Suns took down the Los Angeles Clippers last night and carved their way to the NBA Finals. Chris Paul, the 16-year veteran, finally booked his first Finals trip. An excellent performance by the ‘Point God’ made sure that the Clippers had no chance to force a Game 7.

While all this was happening at the Staples Center, the Los Angeles Sparks were playing the Las Vegas Aces at the Los Angeles Convention Center down the road. While it is common for the Staples Center to host NBA matches and the Convention Center to have WNBA games simultaneously, this time there was something odd.

While Chris Paul and the Suns were battling the Clippers to make it out of the West, LeBron James and Damian Lillard were enjoying the WNBA game.

Skip Bayless launches an assault on LeBron James

NBA Analyst Skip Bayless isn’t the biggest LeBron James fan. Hence, when LBJ does something like what he did last night, Skip is always there to pounce on the same. Chris Paul is one of LeBron James’ closest friends. Last night he was battling it out with the Clippers to make it to his first-ever NBA Finals. One would expect his close friend to be there and support him. However, LBJ was allegedly trying to recruit Damian Lillard all the way over at the Convention Center.

Skip Bayless pounced on this fact, and wrote a tweet.

Skip may not be entirely wrong this time. LBJ should have been there to support his friend, instead, he was busy playing GM.
