LeBron James Impresses Bronny James and Fans With a 3-pointer to Put Lakers Up 36-points and Ice the Series Against Grizzlies

LeBron James and the boys in Purple and Gold put on an emphatic show for the fans in Crypto.com Arena and around the world. They bulldozed their way to the Conference Semi-finals by getting a 125-85 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

And every Lakers player outshined their opposite number in quite an impressive way. They outshot and out-rebound them while converting 54% of their shots from the field and stopped Grizzlies to just 30.

And James, who had a terrible series with his 3-point shooting, had a decent night where he shot 40%, one of which came at the very beginning and the second one to give the Lakers a 36-point lead.

The latter impressed Bronny James thoroughly.

Although the game was well out hands of Ja Morant and Co by the end of the 3rd quarter, as the Lakers had gone 33 points ahead of them by then, a LeBron James’ goodbye was necessary to put an exclamation mark on the series.

And when it came, in the form of a 3-pointer, it impressed The King’s heir Bronny like any other person witnessing the game.

James who averaged 22.2 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 5.2 assists, to go along with a steal and a block in 6 games, had 22/5/6 in this one as he sat back and enjoyed a masterclass by D’Angelo Russell who salvaged his last performance against the Grizzlies in the first round.

NBA Twitter praised the 38-year-old

It’s one thing to play in the NBA for 20 years, and it’s another to maintain the same level of hunger, skill, and motivation to win every year. The league has not seen anything of his kind.

And so some fans know the time to appreciate greatness when they see it.

One fan praised James balling out in year 20.

And another simply Tweeted “LeThree”.

Someone pulled up LeBron’s game 6 average.

There were a lot of talks in the series from Memphis players led by Dillon Brooks who called James old after his team’s comeback in the series in Game 2. So, LeBron who obviously would have taken offense to it, didn’t find it necessary to stay and celebrate the series win or shakehand with the Grizzlies.

Hope this is not going to turn into the Isiah-Jordan handshake snub thing. The Grizzlies deserved it.
