“LeBron James, Kevin Durant…”: PSG Superstar Kylian Mbappe Ranks His Top 5 Active NBA Players
Kylian Mbappe is without a doubt standing at the top of the soccer world. Along with Messi and Haaland, he is one of the best active players if to the best. A speedster and excellent finisher, Mbappe is a clutch player capable of changing the game at the drop of a hat.
Surprisingly, Mbappe, apart from wreaking havoc on the ground, also enjoys following the NBA. He recently attended a Brooklyn Nets game and watched Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. The 24-year-old French athlete seemed to be quite enjoying himself.
After the game, he was asked who his top 5 active NBA players are. Mbappe, to everyone’s surprise, knew the players well. He revealed a list that would, frankly, be awfully similar to other NBA fans too.
Kylian Mbappe ranks LeBron James in his top 5
When asked about who is top 5 active players are, Mbappe was loaded with an answer. He immediately listed his top 5 active players and the list was pretty impressive, to be honest.
Mbappe: “Top 5? LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Giannis (Antetokounmpo), Luka Doncic, and Jayson Tatum.”

Fortunately, he did not mention Rudy Gobert in his list so, we know it’s legit. The players on his list have also been extremely impressive this season.
While LeBron James hasn’t won much, he is performing at a level that is unprecedented for a 38-year-old. Meanwhile, Giannis Antetokounmpo is on a rager and has been destroying teams without any mercy.
Same for Jayson Tatum and Kevin Durant. On the other hand, Luka Doncic, like Giannis, has been on a rager. He has put up legendary performances and set multiple Dallas Mavericks records.
PSG Star’s support is good for the league
It’s interesting to Mbappe’s list for more than one reason. Firstly, as a global superstar, his love for the NBA can be a bridge between soccer and basketball fans. It also shows how the game is spreading to European fans.
Although NBA is without a doubt a global sport and people like LeBron James, Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant have enjoyed rockstar treatment all over the world, Kylian’s support can possibly also make the game reach his fans.
