LeBron James has spoken about how Kobe Bryant’s death still affects him in his first real NBA bubble interview in Orlando.

The helicopter crash in January that took the life of nine people including Kobe Byrant and Gianna Bryant is still fresh in the minds of many.  For a lot of people that worshipped the Lakers legend, the news hasn’t sunk in even after 6 months. And LeBron James is no different.

LeBron James speaks about Kobe Bryant

Los Angeles Lakers are among the few teams that have started team practice at full swing. On Monday afternoon three-time champion LeBron talked to some reporters after the practice session. Amongst all the questions, there was one about Kobe Bryant and how his death has affected LeBron as a whole and the Lakers’ ongoing NBA campaign.

The big man said, “There’s not a day that doesn’t go by that I don’t think about him,”. This clearly shows the bond of togetherness among both the player.

“It’s never going to be a closure, I mean, we continue to live on his legacy and continue to have our hearts heavy with both sadness and with happiness for his family that are still here.” James further added.

This statement clearly shows how LeBron is still affected by Kobe’s untimely demise and that he is going to do everything he can to win the championship for Kobe.

LeBron: “Nothing is normal in 2020”

The global pandemic has changed the lives of people. From a fan to an NBA player, no one is spared by the virus.

The lockdown has given enough time to think about topics that one would not think on normal days. The same is the case with King James, he also thinks that 2020 is not normal.

LeBron is Hungry for that NBA Ring

The team is currently No.1 seed in the Western Conference and is likely to go deep into the playoffs. Clippers, Bucks, and Raptors are the teams that can trouble Frank Vogel’s side and can stop LeBron from winning his 4th NBA trophy.

Four-time MVP winner is averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 10.6 assists per game and is the top contender for the MVP award alongside Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo.

He would be hoping that the Lakers can make a strong case for the NBA finals this year and then maybe clinch the championship.
