Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James dapped up Warriors star Steph Curry after the Lakers blowout win over the Warriors.
In a game that was hyped up to be the reignition of a rivalry that spans over 6 years, turned out to be a passable matchup that featured the Golden State Warriors getting blown out by the Los Angeles Lakers. The Laker in fact had a lead as large as 29 at one point of the game, with the final score being 117-91.

After being the leading scorer all throughout the month of February at 33 points per game, the 2x MVP capped off his month with a 16 point dud that saw him shoot 38% from the field. Though LeBron James had merely 19 points on 7 made field goals, James’s teammates picked up the slack as 6 Lakers players finished in double digits in scoring.
Following the abysmal outing on GSW’s part, Steph Curry went over to greet LeBron James while he was doing his postgame interview.
LeBron James and Steph dap each other up postgame.
LeBron James and Steph Curry wasted no time in greeting each other following the blowout win by the Lakers. Seems as though there has been no love lost between the two future Hall of Famers.

Both Curry and James have had their careers intertwined with one another’s for nearly 7 years now. After 4 straight meetings in the NBA Finals, Steph Curry did end up besting the ‘King’ as he claimed all 3 of his championships upon defeating a LeBron James led team.
Perhaps the pinnacle of the James-Curry rivalry came in the year 2016 as it featured the greatest Finals series in recent memory and arguably the greatest Christmas Day game of all time which had the Kevin Durant-led Warriors go up against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

With James and Curry in vastly different situations when compared to 2016, the rivalry that once took the sports world by storm has merely become an afterthought in most fans’ minds. Seems as though James and Curry have also put aside their on court differences as they seemed quite welcoming towards one another last night.
