"LeBron James will never win another championship": Skip Bayless explains why Lakers star will fall short of Michael Jordan's 6 titles after James Harden trade

Skip Bayless has found a new horse to back against LeBron James for the 2021 NBA championship – James Harden and Kevin Durant’s Nets team.

The Fox Sports show host is universally recognized as the biggest detractor James has ever had. Bayless finds the most mundane reasons to discredit James and play down his achievements. The man revels in his contrarian stances and generates clicks like few others do.

As a certified LeBron hater, Skip must have felt overjoyed when he heard of the Nets trade. This signals the second time in 4-5 seasons that James will have to get past a Big 3 to win a championship. Although James now has his best teammate ever in AD, he also possibly has to negotiate a team with 3 transcendent talents.

In the wake of the James Harden trade, Skip Bayless went on to ‘guarantee’ that James will never win a title again.

Skip Bayless says LeBron James will never win NBA title again

Skip and Shannon had some passionate debates on Undisputed yesterday. Shannon raised doubts over Kyrie’s ability to play third fiddle and sustain team chemistry. Skip, on the other hand, had nothing but bad news for the Lakers and LeBron James:

“The Brooklyn Nets are going to win a championship this year, next year, or maybe both. The window is open for 2 years. I don’t think LeBron will ever win another championship.”

Shannon emphasized how the Lakers are a deeper team from top to bottom overall. But Skip had an argument ready for that – depth isn’t so important in the playoffs if you have 7 players who can flat out dominate. Although the Nets’ defense looks shakier than ever, they may simply have too much firepower for that to matter in a 7-game series.
